Redgum Village in 2009Well here we are in 2009 and what a year we should have. Already we have 14 backpackers staying here at Redgum village and we have 8 others in for a fair while plus in about 2 weeks we will have a big group of around 45 miners in for a shut down at the Coolajooroo mine, better known as Ti-West. The cooks have had a great break, with judy keeping a eye on the place as Gaylene and the kids and myself spent 10 days at Hillary's boat harbour apartments, awesome place although they have increased there rates for a family unit to $405 a night so at least we enjoyed our last Christmas at this resort. It was a excellent place to have the kids as the water park and kiddie zone keeps the young ones entertained for hours. We met up with Clint whom used to work here at Redgum village for 3 years and has been as will always be a great friend to our whole family, the kids absolutely love him to bits. Like all great holidays they do come to a quick end and so it is we are getting set up for the working world again, we also came home to a few major repairs as the power dropped a phase whilst we were away and fried a kitchen fridge and both freezers needed attention as well as the ice machine. Some great advice here for you, when your freezer or commercial fridge doesn;t perform to well on hot days first thing to try is:
Sound simple enough and you will be absolutely amazed how at least 2 of the above will be at fault and the refrigeration bloke will do these things for you at a fair old price. Best do these things first before ringing your fridgy guy. As for the ice machine.
Hope these tips are helpful and have a great day and come and see us at The Redgum Village here in Dandaragan
